Pump bottle versus closed-cartridge system
The pump bottle gives you cleaner and a hand pump in one purchase. The CX-4 uses sealed cartridges and a patented dual-valve system. Its closed-bottle design supports hand hygiene and is designed to leave no residue in the cartridge.
The 4 L pump bottle and 4 L cartridge are different formats. Use a compatible cartridge for the CX-4. A new CX-4 station requires the $109.00 dispenser plus a $60.00 cartridge: $169.00 total including GST.
What does a refill cost per wash?
At approximately 800 washes per 4 L CX-4 cartridge, a $60.00 refill costs approximately 7.5 cents of cleaner per wash. This estimate uses 5 mL per wash and excludes the dispenser. Actual consumption varies.
Example: an eight-person workshop
Eight people × three washes each day × 22 working days = 528 washes per month. At 5 mL each, that is approximately 2.64 L. A 4 L cartridge covers that example month, with cleaner remaining; reorder timing depends on your actual use.
