How the calculation works
Monthly washes equal people multiplied by washes per person per day and working days. Litres equal washes multiplied by dose in mL, divided by 1,000. Cost per wash is pack price multiplied by dose, divided by the selected pack volume in mL. Whole packs round up; the unused portion can carry into the next period.
Use an observed dose where possible
The initial MACO refill dose is a planning assumption, not a supplier performance test. Dose is cleared when you change products. Enter a dose supported by your equipment, observations or supplier. Keep other inputs fixed when comparing doses so you can see what changes the result. Do not infer that every cleaner removes the same contamination with the same amount.
Turn the estimate into a reorder plan
Record opening stock and actual refill use over a working month. Compare that with the estimate, then adjust the model before placing a larger repeat order. Allow for supply lead time and stock held at each wash station. Freight is excluded; ask for delivery options outside Perth metro.
