Five checks before ordering a workshop hand-cleaner refill
Avoid buying the right volume in the wrong cartridge. Check dispenser model, product code, pack size, price unit and delivery before ordering.
A refill can be the right volume and still be the wrong purchase. Use the empty pack and the dispenser label to create a repeatable ordering specification before comparing supplier prices.
1. Record the dispenser model
Read the model from the installed dispenser, not just the brand on the front. A MACO CX-4 needs a compatible CX-4 cartridge; Deb packs are not listed as substitutes. If the model is unclear, ask for help before ordering a carton.
2. Match the exact product code
Brand families contain several formulations. Solopol, Solopol Lime and Solopol PURE are separate options. Record both the product name and code from the current pack, then check the current applicable Australian SDS for the formulation being supplied.
3. Check whether the pump is included
The MACO 4 L pump bottle includes a pump. The sealed 4 L cartridge is a different product. A new CX-4 setup needs the dispenser as well as the refill; ordering refill only does not provide the wall-mounted equipment.
4. Separate price unit from carton quantity
Displayed retail prices on this site are for individual packs including GST. A supplier carton count of four tells you how many packs are in that carton, not that the displayed price covers all four. Ask for carton pricing rather than assuming a discount.
5. Plan the next order from actual use
Record opening stock, packs used and the time between orders. Use the hand-cleaner calculator to model consumption, then confirm freight and supply timing. Free Perth metro delivery does not imply free freight to every WA postcode.
Build a clear buying list
Use the trade supply form to send product codes, quantities, dispenser models and your delivery postcode. Keep the safety documents with the specification. MACO Special is not a disinfectant, causes serious eye damage and contains CMIT/MIT preservative, which may produce an allergic reaction. The MACO SDS available here is a European 2020 document and is not verified as a current Australian SDS.
